Merit Badge Midway 2023 - Scout Registration
All Scouts, regardless of troop affiliation or rank, are welcome to participate in the midway.

08:00am -- 09:00am Check-In
09:00am -- 12:00pm AM class
12:00am -- 01:00pm Lunch
01:00am -- 04:00pm PM class
Cost: $30 for half day (AM or PM), $60 full day .
Pizza lunch included (Vegetarian lunch option is available)
How to Register
- Click here to view the list of classes and prerequisites. Review MB Classes offered and pre-requisites/follow up tasks. Email the MB counselor if you have any questions.
- Select and register for: Just one class (AM or PM) OR One AM class and one PM class OR One All-Day class
- Provide your Troop number, rank and BSA ID.
- Pay for selected class , add “scout name – Midway” in response to ‘What’s this payment for?’
Important Information
- Please double check your selections. Refund/Exchange(based on availability) are allowed until Oct 6th.

Note : We cannot accommodate registrations on the day of the event.
Scouts should come prepared
- Scouts should bring blue cards signed by their scoutmaster
- Complete assigned merit badge prerequisites. Counselors reserve the right to turn away unprepared Scouts.
- Half day classes are only 3 hours long. Typically you should plan on learning most of the content at home, writing down notes in your merit badge pamphlet, and coming prepared to discuss what you've learned with the counselor.
- Check-in and check-out at the registration table with a parent/guardian/troop leader.
- Dress in full scout uniform.
- Bring a notebook and a pencil, Water bottle.

In 2021, with the help from over 30 volunteers, Troop 2 in Los Gatos hosted its annual Merit Badge Midway for over 250 boy scouts across Northern California!
Troop 2 is excited to again host a Merit Badge Midway to serve Boy Scouts from Silicon Valley/Monterey Bay Council for 2023!

Serving as a merit badge counselor is a wonderful way to teach scouts your favorite hobby or personal passion. Time and again, young scouts are inspired by the counselor’s energy, passion, and domain expertise. For these reasons, we would love to have you consider serving as a counselor in one of the subjects below.
